EMBODIED HEALING: November Book Release

CFTE & TCTSY Co-Director Jenn Turner is busy recording the audio version of the new book she edited, out in print this November, titled: Embodied Healing — Survivor and Facilitator Voices from the Practice of Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.

The purpose of this book is to share with treatment practitioners and survivors of trauma what it might look like to create conditions for processing and holding experiences of trauma without talking about them. To hold a space where survivors could show up, exactly as they are, and explore having a body, noticing their body and possibly making choices in that body without needing to find language to explain or articulate what is happening. Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) has proven to be one way of exploring this type of trauma healing.

The book is currently available as an eBook. You can also pre-order the print version, out in November.
